Welcome to the Supernatural25 Fan Fiction Challenge Community!
Ever wanted to write a complete table of stories for a fandom, but found that either 100 was too many stories, or that worse yet, there are too many people ahead of you waiting to finish those 100 stories before it can be your turn?
If that's the case, Supernatural25 is for you.
This challenge community is for the purpose of inspiring writers to write Supernatural stories, and to think of them from multiple angles. There are several different theme sets of prompts to evoke different story ideas, so choose the Theme Set that most appeals to your creativity.
~~ Rules ~~
Step One: View the eight theme sets here to see which one you want to claim. You may claim only one at a time, although I'll allow up to five users to claim the same themes. This allows more writers to participate without creating too much headache for the moderator (me). You may claim without joining the community, but you will not be able to post any stories until you are a member.
Step Two: Check the Claims list to see whether the Theme Set you want is available. Up to five people may make individual claims for a single Theme Set, with a waiting list of up to two people. If you cannot claim the set you want, consider whether you want to claim a different set, or be placed on the Waiting List. Otherwise, make your claim in a comment to that post!
Step Three: Once your claim is granted, make sure you have joined the community so I can approve you for posting.
Step Four: Write one story (minimum of a 100-word drabble) for each prompt in your theme set table. Crossovers are permitted, so long as Supernatural is the main focus of the story, and Supernatural stories can be about any of the characters from the show. Once your story is finished, post it to the community. The posting format should be as follows:
Subject Line: Story title, characters/pairing, Genre (Gen, Het, Slash), Theme set
The heading for your story must include
Link to your table
with optional author's notes. Remember to link to the fic in your journal, or use an lj-cut!
Now with handy cut-and-paste!
Step Five: Once you have completed all 25 stories in your claim, please post here.
